The suspect was left stripped and with little life in him
A young man believed to be in his thirties has been beaten to a pulp by an angry mob at Video 7 near School Junction at Tanokrom in the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis of the Western Region.
The man, yet to be identified, was caught when he attempted to steal a goat from a pen in the area at about 3:00 am Wednesday.
A resident who spoke to a freelance journalist Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson explained the young man was caught breaking into the pen.
“An alarm was raised leading to his arrest after which he was given a beating of his life,” the eyewitness said.
The man was left in a pool of blood in a gutter in the area stripped and “with little life left in him”, the resident narrated.
The police have since been informed.
