Retraction and Apology

GhanaWeb retracts a publication dated August 17, 2026, concerning Hon Kobina Tahir Hammond and an alleged trip to Turkey in connection with the AKSA Energy transaction which was curated from the Herald Newspaper.

Following concerns raised regarding the Herald's publication, GhanaWeb has reviewed the matter and acknowledges that the report should not have been published in its original form.

We therefore retract the publication and apologise to Hon KT Hammond for any inconvenience or concern the report may have caused.
