The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God-Ghana, Rev. Prof. Paul Yaw Frimpong Manso, has urged the Special Prosecutor-designate, Martin Alamisi Amidu to be circumspect in his dealings should he get the nod from Parliament.
Rev. Prof Frimpong Manso recalled certain comments made by Mr. Amidu prior to his appointment which didn’t go down well with some individuals and political parties, which some may therefore misconstrue his work as witch-hunting.
Rev. Prof Frimpong Manso, who is also the Chairman of the Small Arms and Light Weapons Commission, made these remarks on 3FM Sunrise morning show hosted by Alfred Ocansey on Friday.
“Because he has made some comments, he should be circumspect in his dealing so that it will be seen as witch-hunt”, he advised.
The man of God also noted, now that “the tables have turned, the same people who trusted him will now turn against him”.
Prof Frimpong Manso pointed out that “some of us will not hesitate to criticize him when we see him being biased”.
“Those who have something hidden will not be comfortable but those who do not have anything hidden will be comfortable”, he said.
