A private Legal Practitioner Lawyer Adofo has stated that wealthy opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) members will not dissipate state funds if given the mandate to rule the nation.

He believes that since they are already rich, they will not loot state monies to enrich themselves as witnessed under the current dispensation.

According to him, some ministers have been acquiring properties with State monies.

Speaking on Ultimate Breakfast Show, he observed that members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) fear to go hungry if voted out and therefore scheming various forms to retain power.

Lawyer Adofo asserted that NDC members will not have the opportunity of looting State coffers, hence their desperation.

He urged the electorate to vote massively for NPP arguing that they are wealthy people who will not steal from State coffers.

The Legal Practitioner called on the electorate not to allow clueless people be in the helm of affairs.

‘NDC members are desperate because they are going to go hungry when voted out of power, if you scan through the people of NPP, they are wealthy, they don’t need to be in government to be rich, but when you are sitting there and your country is been rundown, if you are a really God fearing person, how can you shut up, you can’t, you got to rise up for your country…But you can feel that the country is been run (excuse me) by people with no clue, we cannot allow clueless people run this country, you have to help save your country, it’s a calling on all of us to rise up and say we need people who have brains,’ he encouraged.

He observed that the confidence level of Ghanaians is so low, and that a new government is needed to change the fortunes of the country.

Touching on leakages of NPP’s manifesto, a livid Lawyer Adofo suggested to the party to shield their manifesto from the NDC.

He cited the free Senior High School (SHS) idea by the Flagbearer of NPP Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo –Addo which was ‘stolen’ by NDC.

‘When you are dealing with a thief, you always have to close your door, in 2012 you saw what they did with the free SHS idea by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo –Addo, they said it will never work, maybe twenty years afterwards, as soon as they won power you saw what happened, they implemented a fake version of it, you know the people we are dealing with, hopelessly incompetent, they will just do anything to remain in power. Like serial callers, they all sing the same song, they say the NPP is desperate for power what about the NDC, they are desperate,’ he asserted.

He envisaged that the only way the country can move on is to wrestle power from NDC in December.
