No other Ghana premier league attracts me like Wa All Stars, says the club’s leading marksman Richard Arthur.
Arthur who bagged eight goals for the Wa-based club in the build up to their league winning campaign in the 2016 premier league season has declared that he is bent on securing a move outside the shores of the country after his trials in Saudi was cut short by the club due to their participation in the CAF Champions league next season.
Upon his return to the country, Richard was rumoured to be keen on a transfer away from the club to one of the leading clubs in the Ghana Premier league.
However, he has boldly debunked the rumours and said he fancies no other local club in the country apart from his parent club Wa All club.
“There is no team here in Ghana to play than Wa All Stars. If i leave this club, it will only be to play in abroad.”
“I went on trials in Saudi but because of the club’s participation in the Champions league, the club’s management told me to come and help. We had a dialogue and agreed that this will be my last season for the club and hence any other offer that will come after the upcoming season, I’ll be allowed to go.”
“I’ve had some many offers but when you’re working with elderly people, you cannot take a decision on your own accord. I’m not in a hurry to travel abroad and I know that when the time is right like they said, more offers will come.”
