Ridge Hospital presents GH¢800 and mobile phone to assaulted nurse

Management of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital has presented a new mobile phone and an amount of GH¢800 to the nurse who was assaulted by relatives of a patient at the hospital’s Emergency Department on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

The hospital also provided additional financial support to aid the nurse’s recovery.

Majority condemns assault on health workers at Ridge Hospital

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has confirmed that one person has been arrested in connection with the incident, while another suspect remains at large.
