Accra, March 4, GNA - The police will close roads leading to the Independence Square to vehicular traffic on Thursday, March 6, from 0600
to 1000 hours for the 51st independence anniversary celebrations. A statement signed by DSP Kwesi Ofori, Director of Public Affairs, named the roads as 28th February Road from CEPS Headquarters Junction to
Castle Traffic Light and the Road linking Starlets 95 Road from the Independence Arch to the Independence Square. It said vehicular traffic on the 28th February Road from the Accra direction towards Osu would be diverted at the CEPS Headquarters Junction onto Liberia Road towards the Ministries traffic light and the National Theatre.
Traffic on the 28th February Road from the Osu direction towards Accra would be diverted at the Castle traffic light onto Salem Road towards Osu Presby Church.
