Rotaract club of Aflao, Lome-Horizon make donations to schools

The Rotaract Club of Aflao (RoCA) and their Twin Club from Togo, Rotaract Club of Lome'-Horizon on Friday, 19th of October donated Hand Washing Apparatus to some selected schools in Aflao in the Ketu South Municipality.

The donation dubbed "My Hand, My Life" was to mark this year's Global Hand Washing Day at Lente-Yame. The schools that benefited from the project are Aveyibome M.A Basic School, Lente-Yame Basic School, Spoken Voice Academy and House of Grace Academy.

Rtr. Samuel Numana, who is a member of Rotaract Club of Aflao and the Community Health Officer (CHO) at Lente-Wute CHPS Compound took the teachers and students through the Proper Hand Washing Method and it significance. Also certificates have presented the schools for trying in their own small way to ensure proper hand washing practice.

The President of the Rotaract Club of Aflao CP Dela Denakpor, task the schools authorities and students to take care of the Hand Washing Apparatus and also urge them to share what what they learnt with others at home.

The Headmaster of Aveyibome M.A Basic School on behalf of the schools thanked the Rotaract Club of Aflao and Rotaract Club of Lome'-Horizon for their kind gesture.
