The Rotary Club of Accra- east in partnership with Rotary District 9104, celebrated the graduation of 40 young women who participated in its flagship vocational entrepreneurial skills training program.

At the end of the training, each participant received startup kits to help them kick-start their business and certificates of participation to celebrate their dedication and perseverance in completing the program.

The event was graced by the president of the rotary club of Accra-East, Rotarian Dorothy L. Ametefe.

In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of transformation and sustainability, urging the women to recognize their current position as a foundation for future progress. She inspired the trainees to focus on the opportunities ahead, assuring them that their hard work would lead to a better future for themselves and their community.

Mary Elorm Addo, President-Elect and Lead of the project advised the women to use the skills learned to develop themselves, achieve financial independence, and develop others to help reduce unemployment in their communities.

This project seeks to empower and support more than 300 young women over the next 5 years.
