The first few months of the current government administration saw many heads of state controlled institution resign or get dismissed from their respective offices.

Some were removed from office due to being perceived as corrupt, although some members of the public have hinted at partisanship being the primary reason.

This said, some NDC members have undoubtedly remained in their respective positions in state-owned institutions regardless of the political change, even though this may not be for long if the firebrand NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman has anything to do with it.

Popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, Mr Bernard Antwi Bosiako has alleged that corruption related scandals that have rocked the Akufo-Addo administration have been "masterminded" by NDC members still occupying positions in state institutions.

Speaking during an interview on NEAT FM, Chairman Wontumi vehemently urged President Akufo-Addo to dismiss all members of the NDC still occupying positions in state institutions, saying that if they remain there the administration would be in trouble.

“President Nana Addo must with immediate effect sack all NDC members occupying positions in state companies. They are those creating these problems in recent times. Their aim is to tarnish his government, so if those people are at post then we are in trouble,” he said.
