Former AshantiGold SC and Asante Kotoko SC forward Sadick Adams has kicked against the idea of pay cut for Ghana Premier League players.
The suspension of the 2019/2020 football season due to the novel coronavirus pandemic has seen clubs sweating over the payment of salaries of players and other incentives.
Many have suggested that the players accept a pay cut in this period so as help the clubs to avoid financial difficulties.
But the Adams says the clubs should increase salaries instead because players earn very little as salaries.
"I don't support the ideology of pay cut for our Premier League players how much do they take to talk off pay cut," he said on Boss FM.
"The clubs should rather pay them well or increase the their pay."
The experienced striker is close to joining Eleven Wonders FC for the rest of the 2019/2020 season.
