The Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Hajia Zuwera Mohammed, joined worshippers across the constituency on Wednesday night to participate in 31st December crossover services, as churches gathered to usher in the New Year 2026 with prayers, thanksgiving and renewed spiritual commitment.

The MP moved across selected churches within the constituency, fellowshipping with congregants as they offered prayers of gratitude for the year past and sought divine guidance for the year ahead.

The crossover services, a significant feature of Christian worship in Ghana, provided an atmosphere of reflection, hope and unity as residents transitioned into the New Year.

Addressing worshippers, the MP encouraged Christians to enter 2026 with faith, discipline and a strong sense of responsibility towards one another.

She emphasised the importance of prayer, peaceful coexistence and hard work in achieving personal success and collective development, noting that spiritual values remain essential to national progress.
