Watch former second Vice Chair of the New Patriotic Party, Sammy Crabbe, take his turn on '21 minutes with KKB'.
The politician talks about the machinations of a 'cabal' within the New Patriotic Party, the possibility of the party's vigilante groups, the Invisible Forces and Bolga Bull Dogs, metamorphosing into a terrorist group like Boko Haram, his feud with Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye and why he wants to be the NPP's next National Chairman.
In his conversation with GhanaWeb Editor, Kwabena Kyenkyenhene Boateng, the Former Second Vice Chairman still maintains that the indefinite suspension of the party’s elected National Chairman Paul Afoko was orchestrated by an ‘egoistic’ cabal in the party.
According to Mr. Crabbe, two of his colleagues, Kwabena Agyapong, suspended General Secretary of the party and suspended National Chairman, Paul Afoko were both eliminated from the party because they tried to follow due diligence.
Mr. Crabbe explained that the two aforementioned tried to control a group that was assembled to provide security for the party; the invisible forces, a decision that many party members opposed hence instigating their suspension.
He believes managing the Invisible forces would have prevented the group from getting out of control as they have today and expressed fear at the possibility of the group becoming like Nigeria’s militant group, Boko Haram.
