Accra, March 4, GNA - Many school children, particularly primary and Junior Secondary pupils who thronged to the ongoing 9th Ghana International Trade Fair on Thursday in their numbers said it was the most exciting fair with wonderful scenery.

"It's nice, full of fun and interesting to see a lot of things for the first time and we love this place and will always come here again", this is how school children from the Eastern Region described the ongoing 9th Ghana International Trade Fair.

Having paid 25,000 cedis to visit the fair Miss Shiela Agyeman and Miss Ernestina Agyepong both pupils of Presbyterian Junior Secondary School (JSS), Koforidua said it was worth paying to visit the fair because they have not only had lots of fun but also bought school items at prices lower than in Koforidua.

Sheila said: "We purposely came to see the nice things around and I am very happy I came though I have been here before but things have changed this time, especially the way they have arranged the place and the beautiful scenery around.

"The items too are cheaper than those in our schools in Koforidua so I bought some books and a school bag".

Ernestina said what fascinated her so much was the modern computers and other technologies she saw as well as a museum housing statutes of great and illustrious personalities, who were dead.

She said she would not hesitate at all to tell her mates back home who missed the opportunity that the fair was very interesting and a nice place to be so next time they should try to participate.

The children mainly primary and junior secondary school pupils from Eastern, Central and Greater Accra Regions did not only throng to the fair to see the products being exhibited but also to have fun. They were seen all over the place taking photographs with their colleagues eating and sharing foods.

Master Kweku Larbi, a 12 year-old boy from the Methodist JSS, Koforidua Eastern Region said he had taken a lot of pictures that he would show to his parents and friends back home. 04 March 04
