School summit opens in Kumasi next week

The school summit, an annual schools and educators conference for schools directors & owners, heads, managers and administrators, I.C.T instructors and teachers is expected to take place in Kumasi, this Saturday, 7th February 2015.

The one-day summit will start at 8:00 a.m. prompt at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Kumasi which will also target other players in the sector such as after-School care givers, school managers, entrepreneurs, new and prospective school owners as well as educational consultants.

The event, which is organized and promoted by the Digital Education Group (DEG) in partnership with its international and local partners is under the theme - “Creating Competitive Advantage in Education”.

According to the organizers, this year’s events will focus on contemporary topics for discussion that include Competitive Advantage through Branding, Financing Schools Projects and Buses, staying ahead with technology, Instructional Strategy, Promoting your School on Ghana’s only Schools Search Engine – Easyschoolfind amongst others. These topics would be presented by High Profile speakers with strong expertise in best practices in Education and Organizational excellence.

High profile speakers include George Sackey (CEO, Digital Education Group), Patrick Otieku Boadu (President, Spearhead Consult) and Eric Dwamena (CEO, Center of Academic Excellence U.K) and other seasoned educators will presenting on relevant topics.
