The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Abronye DC has ridiculed the opposition, describing the attitude of the members as "cavalier".

According to him, NPP is more concerned about the security of the nation than the NDC.

“If NDC were able to do what NPP is doing for Ghana Police, then the case of insecurity in the country would have been different,” he said.

Contributing to a panel discussion on UTV "Adekye Nsroma", he added that NPP government has fulfilled campaign promises made to the Police administration by providing them cars to assist them safeguard Ghanaians.

“In fulfillment of our manifesto to provide Police Service the needed equipment and logistics to enable it discharge its duty effectively, NPP government has handed cars to the Ghana Police Service to help combat crimes…When you refer to our manifesto, we promised to give them patrol vehicle which we have fulfilled but in the tenure of NDC, Police were even crying for cars to use for their operations…What are you saying…NDC had a cavalier attitude than NPP when it comes to security issues,” he stressed.
