Ghana’s nationwide recruitment into the internal security agencies officially begins on Monday, November 17, 2025, with the launch of the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP).

The portal will be opened at 12 noon and will remain active until Friday, December 19, 2025, giving prospective applicants just over a month to submit their applications.

The exercise covers four key agencies: the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Prisons Service.

According to an announcement by the Ministry of Interior on Facebook, applicants are required to purchase a recruitment voucher either through the USSD code *71303# on all mobile networks or at any GCB Bank branch nationwide.

The Ministry cautioned applicants to ensure they purchase the correct voucher for the specific agency they intend to apply to, noting that this will help route applications accurately from the beginning of the process.

The C-SERP platform was introduced to improve transparency and accessibility in security services recruitment.

The Ministry emphasised that the process is strictly merit-based and free from external interference.

“There are no middlemen in the recruitment selection process. Be vigilant and do not fall prey to any scheme claiming to secure admission slots for a fee. The C-SERP process is free, fair, and open to all qualified Ghanaians,” the statement read.

Government also reiterated its commitment to ensuring a fair and credible recruitment process and warned the public to remain alert to potential fraudsters.
