Several passengers are feared to have lost their lives in a tragic accident that occurred at the Kasoa Tollbooth on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

The incident, which caused heavy traffic along the Kasoa–Accra highway, involved a commercial vehicle and a long truck, leaving multiple people with severe injuries.

According to multiple reports, the crash happened at dawn when one of the vehicles reportedly lost control and rammed into another, trapping passengers inside.

Emergency responders, including personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service and the National Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene to rescue victims and convey them to nearby health facilities.

For nearly an hour, paramedics struggled to find an advanced health facility to receive a critically injured patient after initial treatment at the Ngleshie Amanfro Polyclinic.

Police have since cleared the wreckage to restore the flow of traffic.
