Prophet Nigel Gaisie is the founder of Prophetic Hill Chapel
The leader of Prophetic Hill Church, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has disclosed how he supported some current government appointees of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) when the party was in opposition.
According to the preacher, his support went beyond praying for the politicians and offering spiritual guidance.
He revealed that he also provided financial and material assistance to support their political activities and help the party return to power.
Speaking in an interview with media personality Blakk Rasta on 3FM, Prophet Nigel Gaisie explained that he shared money from his church’s offerings with some of the politicians when they needed financial assistance.
He also disclosed that he used his personal resources to print campaign T-shirts, made his Land Cruiser V8 vehicles available for their use and connected some of them with businesspeople who could offer financial support.
The preacher said he was motivated to support the NDC because he strongly believed that the party’s presidential candidate at the time, John Dramani Mahama, would win the election and return the party to power.

“Most of some of the appointees, I was taking care of them while they were in opposition. Aside the spirituality, physically I was giving them money. Some of them were using my V8s. They were using my cars. I did T-shirts for them. I got them business men to support them. Some of them, my offering, I was sharing my offering with them because I was more than convinced that President Mahama will be president again,” he said.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie also spoke about whether those he supported had shown appreciation for the assistance he provided during their time in opposition.
Although he did not name any of the individuals he was referring to, his comments suggested that he was leaving the matter to the conscience of those who had benefited from his support.
He indicated that he would not force anyone to show appreciation, adding that people should be allowed to act according to their own choices.
“So, like I said, let those who be good be good. Let those who be bad be bad,” he added.
