'Shatta Wale' in suicide mission; nearly beheads himself

Twenty-Seven year old Akwasi Offi popularly known as Shatta Wale nearly beheaded himself with a sharp knife at Nsuaem 2 in the Bosom Freho District of the Ashanti Region.

The incident which occurred on Tuesday September 18, 2018 has thrown residents into a state of shock.

An eyewitness Emmanuel Nyame narrating the incident to Abusua Fm’s Osei Kwadwo said Shatta Wale who is addicted to tramadol and alcohol locked himself in his room and attempted the suicide.

According to him, sister of Shatta Wale who was having conversation with him from outside went to Shatta’s room only to find him lying in a pool of blood.

He said with the help of the residents around, Shatta Wale was rushed to Asiwa government hospital for treatment but currently on transfer at Konongo government hospital for further medication.
