Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale has pledged a generous donation of $100,000 to the Black Stars World Cup fundraising campaign, adding to the growing list of contributions as the nation rallies behind the team.
The donation was announced during a fundraising event at the Kempinski Hotel on Friday, March 21, 2026, where individuals and corporate bodies pledged significant amounts to support Ghana's preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Shatta Wale's contribution follows a $101,000 pledge from fellow musician Stonebwoy, which included $81,000 in cash and $20,000 worth of music services.
The funds are designated to help fly Ghanaian supporters to the tournament, ensuring the Black Stars have fan backing in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
