Press Statement

It has come to our notice that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will be visiting Germany from the 15th to 17th May, 2015.

His visit comes on the heels of the visit of H.E President John Dramani Mahama. I wish on behalf of NDC Germany to admonish all members of our great party to as a matter of our cultural upbringing and teaching to show respect to our elderly in society and so do nothing that will not make our difference stand out.

We have reached a stage that West Africa is seen as the hub for drug trade and our citizens been used for Boko Haram and others. As the “Ghana for all Ghanaians coalition” (G4G-coalition) led by Kwaku Botwe try to stage a 300 man demonstration against Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo as a beneficiary of such trade and even he stood accused and challenged by his own party members, we would entreat all NDC members to stay away from the said demonstration for it won’t bring anything meaningful to Ghana.

Nana Akufo Addo’s coming to Germany poses no threat to our 2016 victory but let focus on the developmental and transformational agenda that we have embarked on and promised the good people of Ghana. Lets us stand up and defend the brand Ghana and show much respect to our elderly.

The achievements of our party in government are there for all to see in all sectors of national life.

Germany has one of the best health care systems in the world and we pray that Nana Akufo Addo might end up getting better medical attention here to enable him go through the hectic electioneering campaign.
