As part of its 100 year anniversary celebration, Silver Star Auto Limited, authorized dealers of Mercedes-Benz in Ghana, recently held an open day in Accra to showcase the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz M Class.
Francis Larbi-Odame, Sales Manager in charge of saloon cars, presented the 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class and was supported by other management executives.
Mr. Larbi-Odame stated that the new Mercedes-Benz M-Class is the definition of contemporary auto mobility due to its power, excellent driving dynamics and fuel efficiency.
“The 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class will turn your head and hold your gaze with its distinct identity of body contours and lines that are masculine and athletic. With a front design marked by the pronounced radiator grille, the large centrally positioned star and the front bumper with a large chromed under guard, the M- Class exudes power and exclusivity”, he noted.
The interior of the M-Class, he stated, is superb and elegant. Spacious and airy, the interior of the M- Class is further complemented by dashboard displays which are easy to read, controls that provide convenient access and seats designed to offer excellent comfort on long journeys.
The drive system and suspension of the M- Class meets the tough demands of on- and off-road motoring in all road conditions.
Mr. Larbi-Odame further touched on some technical highlights of the new M-Class. These include a new engine line-up of diesel and petrol that deliver superior power at very low fuel consumption, an enhanced 7G-tronic plus transmission with a sportier response, easy shifting and a significant contribution to lower fuel consumption. Also, he mentioned the active curve system which reduces roll and stabilizes the vehicle when it negotiates a turn.
Occupants of the M -Class can be assured of benchmark standards of safety. Prominent among these are standard fit pre-safe system which can detect critical driving situations and initiate preventive measures to protect occupants.
“With these features, the M -Class leads the competition in terms of safety, comfort, quality feel and fuel consumption”, he said.
