The incident is alleged to have taken place at the Shiashi branch of the Savings and Loans
The news of a policeman maltreating a nursing mother and beating her to a pulp has deeply enraged social media users.
Most have called for immediate arrest and prosecution of the policeman seen in the video with the stiffest of sanctions.
The nursing mother was slapped, kicked and knocked and but for the timely assistance of an onlooker suspected to be a staff who dragged her out of the room on the floor, she would have been hit with a gun by the policeman.
The incidence is alleged to have taken place at a branch of Midlands Savings and Loans after closing hours.
Details surrounding the brutal assault are scanty but a social media user who shared the video on her Facebook page provided some information which cannot be independently verified at the moment.
From the video, those present at the scene did very little to stop the policeman from beating up the nursing mother except for a gentleman who took the woman's baby from her grips.
The about 1 minute 40 seconds video has gone viral and many have expressed their displeasure at the barbaric act of the policeman.

1. Midland Savings and loans is equally irresponsible and a disgrace for allowing the police officer to beat up this woman simply because she arrived at the bank late! And insisted she takes money. What if she had no money and that was the only thing she had to rely on that day?

How in the world do u validate such an action... You hitting a woman, as if it’s not bad enough, she’s carrying a child and you hit her, drag her on the floor and all this even in your uniform? Are you just STUPID, HEARTLESS, SENSELESS, INHUMANE, or WHAT??like I mean HOW???
