Former President John Mahama has reacted to an apology letter from the management of the Multimedia Group after one of its staff used unpleasant words towards him while hosting a show on radio.
After receiving the letter, John Mahama took to social media to announce that he has accepted the apology by captioning the letter “accepted”.
The unreserved apology by the Multimedia Group signed by the Programmes Director of Asempa FM, Mr Sammy Yirenkyi and Mr A.C. Ohene, the Head of News and Current Affairs was in reaction to the conduct of the host of the 'Kanawu' show Nana Akua Acheampomaa Sarfo-Adu.
"Nana Akua, while presenting one of our shows, dubbed Kanawu used words that were unpleasant to your person. As a result, the Management of the station wishes to unreservedly apologise to you on its own behalf and on behalf of the presenter,” it added.
Twitter users have lauded Mahama for his show of maturity while others say they are happy he has accepted the apology.
