The state of sanitation in the country’s capital is somewhat worrying but authorities charged with the duty of overseeing its cleaning seem to have slept on their job.
Unlike previously when Ghanaians seem not to care much about happenings in the country, the advent of social media has changed that and Nana Akufo-Addo’s call on Ghanaians to be citizens and not spectators has given the opportunity to people of the country to take part in the governance process.
Well, this week, there seem to be a campaign to get the Sanitation Minister and his deputies from their office because they have slept for far too long while filth engulfs the country’s capital.
According to users of social media, they cannot fathom why the Sanitation Ministry which was set up under the Akufo-Addo’s “bloated” government sit unconcerned whiles the sanitation of the country’s capital is nothing to write home about.
