Police Prosecutors have arraigned a Military Officer, Staff Sergeant, Seth Alloryitoh, before an Accra District Court for assaulting a Police Officer in Uniform at Appolonia city, a suburb of Accra.
According to the facts sheet, Police Chief Inspector Samuel Donyoh, an officer stationed at the National highway patrol unit, was given a hefty blow on his eyes by the military Officer in the line of duty over a misunderstanding.

Prosecutors have charged the suspect with assault on a Public Officer contrary to section 205(A) of Act 2960.
Staff Sergeant seth Alloryitoh, pleaded guilty with explanation, however, the court changed his plea to not guilty ordering that the prosecution would have to prove their case. The case has been adjourned to the 24th of May 2018.
He was granted bail to the tune of GHc 7,000.00 with two sureties.
