Accra, Oct. 21, GNA - An Accra Fast Track Court presided over by Mr Justice G.A. Aryeetey on Thursday adjourned a case in which Michael Soussoudis, an Economist, is charged for unlawful possession of explosives and firearms to November 3.

The eighth Prosecution Witness in the case was indisposed and was unable to be in court.

Mrs Naa Meley Wood, a Chief State Attorney, prayed the Court for the adjournment with the hope that the Witness would be in court. Soussoudis is facing two counts of possessing explosives, firearms and ammunition without lawful authority.

He had pleaded not guilty to all the charges and he is on bail. A team of Police officers, acting upon information, searched Soussoudis residence sometime in April 2001 and allegedly discovered a quantity of arms and explosives in the boys' quarters and his main house.
