South African Foreign Minister arrives

Accra, Nov 01, GNA - Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, the South African Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived on Monday for a four-day official visit.

Dr Zuma, who is leading a six-member delegation, is in the country as part of a five-nation West African tour.

While in the country, Dr Zuma and his counterpart Nana Addo-Dankwa Akuffo-Addo will bilateral and multilateral issue. These include Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Cote d'Ivoire as well as events in Dafur and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Dr Zuma told journalists that her visit was long overdue. "I promised I would be here before the elections", she said. Nana Akuffo-Addo and South African Ambassador Rapo Molekale met her on arrival.
