Speaker hosts CPA delegates

Mr. Justice D. F. Annan, Speaker of Parliament has hosted delegates to the conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) underway in Accra, to a cocktail reception at the State House.

Justice Annan is the new Chairman of the Africa Region of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA). About 150 delegates and observers from Zimbabwe, Namibia and Nigeria, among other Commonwealth African countries are attending the nine-day conference, the 30th to be held by the association.

Some traditional rulers, members of the diplomatic corps and Parliamentarians were also at the reception. The delegates chatted among themselves while the Police band provided music.
