Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah has revealed that the recent pervasive attitude where men of God who deliver prophecies are lampooned and castigated is nothing but a demonic attempt to start confusion in the country.

According to the pastor who has over the years stirred controversies in the country, the devil has deliberately put people up to condemn prophets for doing God’s work.

He added that the peculiar aspect of the issue which calls for more worry is in situations where his colleagues in the ministry point accusing fingers.

While addressing his congregation in his church he said, “most people are rudely criticising prophets for their prophecies but I must say that it’s a demonic spirit the devil has released into the country to fight against genuine prophets…If a bible preacher makes a mistake most pastors do not even talk about it but when a prophet makes a mistake, some preachers make it a topic in their churches.”

In an attempt to give reasons for the attitudinal change of many Ghanaians towards prophets, Reverend Owusu Bempah said, “…now the reason all mouths are against prophets, I’m talking about genuine ones is because in this end time, the prophetic unction will fight against the anti-Christ. It is the prophetic ministry that will climax the end of the world. All the ministries will collapse. The apostles, evangelists, teachers, pastors will all collapse, only the prophets will stand out.”

“God’s favourites are the prophets that’s why he said ‘touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm’,” he said amidst mild cheers.

Owusu Bempah’s assertion comes on the back of recent controversies ignited after the leader of Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro dressed down prophets who use their 31st-night services to predict the results of the 2020 General elections which will be held in Ghana.
