President-elect John Dramani Mahama has reminded people who intend to work in the government to ensure that they work in the interest of the country.
He has noted that the Ghanaian people are slow to react, but if they get enough of the bad treatment, they will punish you with their thumb.
To him, he has noticed that the government will have a tough time in governance.
Therefore, people who are not interested in working hard and sacrificing for the country should stay in the private sector.
"Ghanaians are slow to react, but when they have had enough, they will punish you if you don't work in their interest. I'm making it a reminder to all those who are aspiring to work in the new government that it's not going to be easy.
"It's not going to be business as usual; it is going to be hard work, and so If you people are not prepared to work hard and to sacrifice for Ghana, then you better stay in the private sector."
