Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has signaled he will jump at the next opportunity to work around the Black Stars team.
With the Ghana FA set to appoint a new coach for the senior national team, there have been calls to infuse some retired players in the backroom of the incoming gaffer.
And Appiah who was attached to the Black Stars team during the 2014 Fifa World Cup says he has no reason to reject another opportunity.
“Why not?,” he responded over his readiness for another shot with the Black Stars.
“I paid my dues to my country well as a footballer.
“Just like anybody else, I would love so serve my nation; so when the opportunity presents itself, I will gladly take it,” the ex-international stated.
Stephen Appiah, 36, officially retired from football in 2015.
