Stephen Domelevo: Brother of former Auditor General to be buried on October 3

The Society for Divine Word Missionaries (SVD) of the Catholic Church has announced that Br. Stephen Domelevo, Brother of former Auditor General will be buried on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

A statement issued and signed by the Provincial Superior, Cyprian Kuupol reads in part “It is with a heavy heart that I write to officially inform you of the sudden demise of our dearly beloved confrere, Br. Stephen Domelevo, SVD. He died on 26th September 2024 at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) after a short illness. He was 67 years old. Br. Domelevo entered the Society of the Divine in 1979 and has been actively involved in media and social communications.”

“I wish to inform you that after the necessary consultations, the following arrangements have been made for his burial: Thursday 3rd October 2024 at Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka-Accra Office of the Dead at 9:30 a.m. Requiem Mass begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Adoagyiri-Nsawam.

"The Body will be laid for public viewing from 7:30 a.m.

"I therefore wish to invite your Lordships and your collaborators to this solemn celebration to give a befitting farewell to our brother who has dedicated his life to the service of God and the Church. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.”
