I write first to acknowledge the support and prayers of families, religious groups and friends alike. Who through phone calls, visits and prayers wished Madam Hawa Yakubu speedy recovery.
I must hasten to add for the records that Madam Hawa Yakubu did fall ill In the UK after a sojourn in Nigeria. She did not as a matter of fact fly from Ghana to London at the cost of the NPP government and was at Nigeria on a private visit.
Also worthy of note is that Madam Hawa Yakubu has never step foot in the purported Cromwell hospital let alone to be admitted in that Hospital, I have stayed with her during her admission in the hospital and I can say with benefit from hindsight that the Hospital in question is not Cromwell.
Again also I have been privy to payment of her bills during her admission and can confirm unequivocally that, her hospital bills have been the entire responsibility of both family and friends. I do challenge the faceless authors of this rumor to substantiate their claim with facts or desist from peddling such lies and deceit laden with mischief and smoke screams about nothing.
I wish to please ask all Ghanaians to wish her well and appreciate the great work Hawa is doing to empower women in Africa and Ghana. We should try and look at the bright side of issue and give praise and honour where is due, seek the truth and not lies, rumours and uncollaborated information.
Madam Hawa Yakubu wish to inform all friends and well wishers that she has made remarkable strides in getting fit again and will soon join in the effort at deepening democracy and better the lot of our dear motherland(Ghana)
