Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Ade Coker has asked the NPP government to manage the economy with the internally generated funds they campaigned about and stop blaming the erstwhile Mahama government of the current economic hardship.
According to him, he does not understand why Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia is still making propaganda comments when he claims Ghana has the funds to build-up this nation, yet the management of the economy has been worst than the previous government left it.
“Is Dr. Bawumia tired of lecturing about the economy he knew everything about now that he is in government and has control over what should be done?” he asked.
Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ panel discussion segment, Ade Coker called on Vice President Dr. Bawumia to work with the internally generated funds he campaigned with.
“Where is the money you saw and budgeted to work with in advance when you were in opposition? I am surprised Dr. Bawumia has stopped lecturing about the economy, when I taught they promised to make Ghana a paradise after eighteen months in government.
“This is the time we need more of his lecturing because he is on the battle field,” he said.
He suggested it will be better for all politicians at this difficult moment come together to identify the problems facing this country and solve it holistically.
