Stop trolling remorseful Adwoa Safo - Irbad begs

Executive Director of Irbard Security Consult, Mr. Irbard Ibrahim is pleading with Ghanaians to cease the trolling of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome -Kwabenya constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo over comments she personally facilitated the construction of government’s Day Senior High School (SHS) in her constituency.

Mr Irbad said he is saddened by the relentless attacks and mockery that have been targeted at the Minister of State in Charge of Procurement.

“Even though I side with the moderate voices that call on the Honourable MP to correct her utterance on the issue of a said E-Block structure, I humbly urge restraint on the part of our patriotic youth on social media to pardon one of the shining role models to the next generation of female leaders of this great nation we all love”, he pleaded.

Please pardon Hon. Adwoa Sarfo – Irbard Ibrahim pleads with social media activists

''I am deeply saddened by the relentless attacks and mockery that have been targeted at one of the Honourable Members of Ghana’s Parliament.

Even though I side with the moderate voices that call on the Honourable MP to correct her utterance on the issue of a said E-Block structure, I humbly urge restraint on the part of our patriotic youth on social media to pardon one of the shining role models to the next generation of female leaders of this great nation we all love.

I urge all of us to put ourselves in the shoes of anyone who is trolled – the pain that causes the person and their family.

Continuous attacks on the person of the Honourable Member could roll back the gains we have all made in terms of Affirmative Action, and could dissuade upcoming intelligent women from taking up positions of trust and responsibility in this country.

Kindly cease fire, and may the Honourable Member correct the error so we all put this sad episode behind us.

Politicians from across the political divide; both the NPP and NDC are the most vilified people in this country. Why should we always abuse our fellow compatriots who offer themselves to serve us?

It is Hon Adwoa Sarfo today, none of us would feel happy if we were in her shoes and were treated this way. Please do exercise restraint.”
