Accra, Nov. 15, GNA - Pastor Isaac Ekow Eshun, Roman Ridge District Head of the Church of Pentecost has called on Christians to impact their God-given talents in the communities where they reside.

He said it was only when they contribute meaningfully to their communities that they would be of benefit to the society. Pastor Eshun was preaching the sermon at the end of a seven-day revi= val in Accra on Sunday. The revival dubbed: "Supernatural Encounter 2009," was on the theme:= "Surely the Lord is Here."

Pastor Eshun said Christians would be doing a disservice to the nat= ion if they did not allow the teachings of Jesus Christ to reflect in their daily lives. He attributed the country's socio-economic woes to Christians rush f= or monetary gains instead of seeking spiritual upliftment.

Pastor Eshun used the occasion to appeal to drivers to desist from driving under the influence of alcohol to save lives and property. He urged the youth to concentrate on their education and desist from=

the 'Get-rich-quick' attitude, which he said had eaten deep into them.
