Suspected Assassin Was Rawlings' Friend -NDC

Albert Hamid Odinga, 59, who was arrested and detained by security personnel, in Accra at the weekend, is a friend of the former president.

The Belize national has been living in Ghana for over 10 years.

According to the General Secretary of NDC, Alhaji Huudu Yahaya, Odinga was a caretaker at one of the three houses officially allocated to the ex-president.
