Suspected thief lynched in Wa

An unidentified man was found dead in a gutter during the weekend at the Upper West Region.

While the cause of death is still unknown,the man who is believed to be in his 40s was reportedly beaten by an unknown group for allegedly engaging in criminal activities.

Police will not divulge details of the cause of death except to tell mynewsgh.com that he could have been lynched by residents the previous night for stealing considering the multiple machete wounds he suffered on his body.

The body has since been conveyed to the Wa Government Hospital for preservation while investigations have commenced to establish those behind the alleged gruesome act.
