TDC honours six former employees

The Management of the Tema Development Corporation (TDC) on Friday honoured six former employees of the Corporation for their dedicated services.

As their prizes, the six retirees, three males and three females, who served for between 34 and 42 years, received deep freezers and double door fridges.

Mr Daniel Ago, who served the highest number of 42 years and two months, was given a deep freezer.

Two other retirees, Mr Kofi Obeng Antwi and Madam Catherine Bamfo, who served 38 years each, also received deep feezers.

Madam Cynthia Asare was also given a deep freezer for serving 36 and half years whiles Madam Elizabeth Nelson and Mr Henry Adjetey, who served TDC for 35 years and 34 years two months respectively, also received similar prizes.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Mr Joe Abbey, Managing Director of TDC, commended the recipients for their selfless dedication, commitment and devotion to duty.

Mr Abbey, on behalf of Management and Staff of the Corporation, wished the retirees good health, and all the best in their endeavours.
