On his speech on "Freedom Of Speech In Ghana, The Role Of The NPP Tradition", he advised people to accommodate dissenters, while they act very civil in their discourse. He said he saw this as a need because it was the only way to foster democracy and development.
On his "The Founding Of Modern Day Ghana: The Historical Antecedents" speech, he explained this issue has become important now because; how is a nation likely to enjoy its right pace of development if the people lack the zeal to sacrifice for it, because of their perception of a lack of recognition on the part of the Nation, and so, the urgent need by all to help in the correction of the distortions surrounding the attainment of the country's independence.
Moreover, he encouraged and advised the youth to work hard and live a positive life because they are the future of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Ghana and the world as a whole.
