"Special street for hawkers...Nana Konadu", is the lead headline on the front page of the Palaver. The story says the First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings has assured traders and hawkers that the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development in collaboration with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), will institute a programme which lead to the opening up of "special streets" for hawkers.

In another front page story headlined: "All must mend ways...Moderator", the Palaver reports the Moderator of the E.P Church of Ghana, the Right-Rev. F.H. Gbewonyo as calling on the 'noise-makers', who keep on blaming the government for everything going on in the society to re-examine themselves and find out whether "we are not all to share the blame for the problems".
