An entertainment Chief of Tamale, Demma- Naa, Mohammed Hafiz who has always been entangled in one controversy to the other ever since his enskinment years ago by the Dakpema Naa Alhassan Mohammed Dawuni is in the news again for the obvious reasons.

The ex-British army man who is also the head of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly Taskforce, stands accused by a Chinese National for allegedly stealing his black Porsche Cayenne 4×4 vehicle with registration GR 5368-15.

According to the victim who wants the chief arrested, Demma- Naa, Mohammed Hafiz in August this year was in Accra and saw the vehicle parked for sale which he expressed interest in buying.

In the process of test driving to be sure it was not defective, he absconded with it to the Northern Region under the claim that he had to respond to an emergency call from Dakpema Naa Alhassan Mohammed Dawuni and will return later to seal the deal.

The days culminated into weeks and the weeks into months with a promise by the embattled sub-chief he was wiring the agreed amount being the cost of the vehicle reached by both parties into the account of the owner which never happened.

After fruitless efforts to neither retrieve the vehicle nor the cash, the Chinese national and his assignee stormed Tamale on Tuesday to cause the arrest of the entertainment chief.

To avoid an embarrassing spectacle, the Dakpema swiftly intervened and pleaded that a meeting be convened at his palace between both parties in the presence of some assembly members.

Mynewsgh.com gathered that the narration of the chronology of events by the livid Chinese national through his interpreter only identified as Ibrahim left assembly members and the chief’s cabinet in shock.

After the marathon meeting, the vehicle was taken away by its owners with a literally embarrassed entertainment chief who once bragged he had slept with more than half of ladies in Tamale left to be consumed by his own shame.

On Tamale-based Diamond Fm on Wednesday, he claimed he was in the process of acquiring the vehicle after executing business worth GH¢15,000 for the man in question.
