Ghana defender Harrison Afful has hailed his Columbus Crew teammates for their emphatic 5-0 win over DC United to secure them, a playoff spot.
Crew finished the regular season in the Eastern Conference of the MLS in second place with the big win on Sunday.
This is an improvement over the third place finish of the side in the regular season last term.
Afful who has been an instant hit since joining Columbus Crew in the summer is basking in the glory of the side’s achievements but has now set his sights on the playoffs.
“Amazing performance today 5-0 against DC. Well done guys, great support from the fans,” he said.
“Focused on playoffs now.”
Columbus Crew will be knowing their playoff opponents once the Western Conference complete their regular season this weekend.
