Teachers express displeasure over unhonoured allowances

Accra, April 29, GNA - The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GN= AT) and the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) have express displeasure at the failure of Government to honour the agreement for allowances signed last year. A statement from the two bodies and copied to the Ghana News agency said: "We are displeased with the lukewarm attitude of government in meet= ing the unions to effect the agreement."

The statement said, "We are informing our rank and file nationwide to= be on standby for the outcome of a meeting scheduled for Friday, April 30 at=
