Selina Aboyinga, a teenage mother donated some sewing machines and other items support some teenage mothers today, December 29, 2019 in the Upper East Region.
The kind gesture was on the theme "17 @ 17", which symbolises the birth of her 17-year-old daughter whom she had 17 years ago.
In attendance to the dinner event were some teenage mothers in the Upper East Region, a representative of the Upper East Regional Minister, the Narrative changers, SFD Foundation team, family and friends.
Miss Aboyinga also honoured her parents with a citation for having been great and super parents.
She mentioned that it is a great thing of joy to use her life story to impact thousands of girls through the SFD Foundation projects and more.
She encouraged girls to stay focused and positive and not allow their current challenges push them off the road. As an author and a development advocate, she has also put together a magazine entitled " 17 @17 Inspire " where she shares her challenges and successes in an interview.
Miss Aboyinga indicated that she will continuously work with passion to support teenage mothers and girls in general. She further added, causing impact is her greatest fulfilment in life thus far.
