Tema West NPP executives to run parallel administration

Tema, Dec. 7, GNA - Six of the eight Executive Officers of the Tema West Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), had declared their intention to run a parallel administration until sanity is restored to the party.

The members are Dr Martin Antwi, Second Vice Chairman, Mr Henry Osei Owusu, Secretary, Mr Francis Poribo, Organiser, Mr Richard Mills, Youth Organiser, Mrs Chrishi Mohammed, Women Organiser and Barima Abankwa Financial Secretary.

The dissident members made this known in a statement issued in Tema in reaction to a media report that quoted Mr Peter Mac Manu, National Chairman of the NPP declaring the Tema West party election as lawful.

The six executives pointed out that contrary to what Mr Manu had said, "all the rules governing the election of the polling station and executives in the constituency were flouted.
