Tension at NPP HQ after chairman's death

There is heavy police presence at the NPP headquarters in Accra as hundreds of supporters have started gathering at the premises following the news of the demise of its Upper East regional chairman.

Adams Mahama has been confirmed dead after he was attacked and showered with acid by two unidentified men Wednesday night.

He was returning from his construction site late in the night when the two unknown men stopped him. More soon…
