In a heartfelt address during a durbar in Ahafo North in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I, the Tepamanhene, expressed his deep gratitude to the NPP government, particularly President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for the remarkable strides made in his area.

His speech was a blend of appreciation and a call for the continuation of progress.

“We asked, and you delivered,” Nana Adusei said, referring to the several crucial projects the region had requested.

These included the establishment of an immigration school and a training college, which, much to the delight of the people, have already been successfully completed. Nana Adusei praised the government for responding positively to these long-standing requests, describing the outcome as a major milestone for the community.

He went on to highlight the establishment of a university in the region, a development he described as an “education revolution” for Ahafo North.

“This university is going to transform the lives of our youth, providing them with opportunities they could only dream of before. We are grateful for this,” he said, emphasizing the profound impact this will have on the region’s educational landscape.

In addition to the educational advancements, Nana Adusei also expressed his approval of the newly constructed barracks for soldiers.

He pointed out that this initiative clearly indicates the NPP government’s commitment to ensuring security and fostering growth in the region.

However, while acknowledging these significant contributions, the Tepamanhene didn’t shy away from addressing the remaining challenges. He urged Dr. Bawumia, who was present at the durbar, to ensure that the momentum of development continues.

“We appreciate what has been done, but there is still much to be done. The condition of our roads is one of the most pressing issues. We ask for your continued support in improving these vital infrastructure projects,” Nana Adusei urged while backing Bawumia to win the elections.
